I understand its all english translation but if it takes place in Japan i feel liek theres should be a voice japanese option for all characters. ive played through the game a few times as it is now. so id like to see ajapanese voiced cast if possible. also itd make it a bit more immersive for me feel like i was actually gogin to a school in japan

1) Budget, they probably dont have the funds left to translate it into Japanese and then pay for the voice actors to read it.
2) I think your the only person thats really wants it.

I do understand where your coming from but personally I don't think its gonna happen. Plus everyone is already attatched to the beloved VA's we have now.

yeah i haven't heard anyone say anything, and i like the voices the way they are. Also look at Sunrider Liberation day, one of the biggest complaints i remember early on was the Japanesse Voice acting. I like ACE the way it is

Dang it kat, you beat me to the punch XD. Yeah; that was a bit of a turn off for a lot of people. Sunrider: Mask of Arcadius started with basic english VAs for combat only, but Liberation Day initially only had the japanese VAs being playable (I think? I forget if it was the case), and this is my opinion, but it was a jarring change. I really felt like the english VAs matched the characters FLAWLESSLY, but the japanese ones felt a bit generic; and not what I was used to. It was a welcome change to have it back, but still.

Ace Academy on the other hand is having near full voice acting from English talents, and it'd be equally uneasy seeing such a change happen to the game. I wouldn't complain if they decided to do it as a post-formal release update/dlc or something, but I for one DO NOT want it interfering with story, characters, and development.

I apologize if the caps seem like I'm getting mad or something, not the case, but I'm just trying to convey a point.

While I understand WHY you want Japanese VA in Ace Academy I disagree... Having Japanese being spoken while I try to read English makes it hard for some people to read xD I always turn voices off if they are Japanese myself... Also I recall more than a few VN games set in English and Americalish (haha =p) speaking countries being Japanese, Chinese or Korean VA xD so let us have a super g*ddamn rare English VN set in Japan haha xD

Have to strongly disagree with most of you. 9 times out of 10, the Japanese version sounds more genuine. This is obviously a grey area for this game as it's set in Japan but actually made by an English dev (I think?). A lot of Japanese characters just look strange when they speak in English, especially since 90% of the English female VAs I've heard are down right AWFUL. Most of them sound exactly a like, with the same over excited voice acting. Could very well be because we DON'T understand Japanese that we can't tell whether or not the Japanese VA is just as bad or not.

Anyway, long story short, most VN players prefer Japanese VAs over English. This is fact. Whether or not one is better than the other is all opinion.

I'll give this game a shot even though it's an English VA cast only because it was made by English speaking Devs. No bad translation errors or lame localizing things like switching Ramen to Burgers .... looking at you, AA series (yes i know there's no VA in those games, talking about the translation itself )
