Well I'm kind of hoping for it but it's up to PixelFade's to decide, but with some of the information they given us in chapter 4 such as Midori Energy which was the MC's fathers company had some real shady stuff going on, and other factors involving. I'm just really interested to find out what happened with the MC's parents and want a answer to their case. And ofc, more plot :c

Honestly, I don't think it really was at all really resolved neatly. Sure, we now know about the MC choice, but his fathers company still has the research, which has implications depending on your own choices, and the PI's are still investigating as well. It also still is not entirely confirmed how much of your parents deaths are the result of the co-worker, or something more sinister from the company itself. Don't get me wrong, I love the game, but still.

Yep. It didn't really resolve the overarching plot. I'm actually not sure if they drew up a scenario that was too much for them to do with their resources. However, especially for an Indie game, it was rather well-executed. If it doesn't end up with a second game that resolves the residual plot threads it will be unfortunate, but hopefully that occurs! However, most studios don't end up making a sequel before they make a couple other games. What they learn from those other games they create usually end up making a potential sequel better! So, we should all probably just be patient and enjoy the next project when it comes out!

Okay, at first I was open to the idea... but after finishing Episode 4, I KNOW IT'S WHAT I WANT!
The ending was really great with my characters dad finally revealing the secret behind the core and the interaction with my love interest at the end, but it still left me feeling empty! I want to see more celebrating with the team. I want to see what the future holds for the ACE-2049-11 team and my characters family. I don't care if the mystery is solved, I want to see them move on and continue living. I say my character finishes his dream of becoming a pilot along with everyone else.
Please make it happen Pixelfade! This was one helluva ride!

Gotta say i agree.

I enjoyed what was here but i only felt like i was getting into the meat of the story in EP4. And then it just sort of... Ends.

I know this is an old topic, but i sooooo want this to happen

i bought Ace Academy quite a while ago but never played it, i just left it in my steam library saying i would eventually play it as i love VN's. months went by and i FINALLY decided to start catching up on some of my steam backlog that has just grown so much......

This is, without a doubt ONE of the best VN's i have ever seen, i think this may have finally dethroned Sunrider as my favorite VN and that is quite a feat. As i LOVE Sunrider ....i just wish there was a 18+ patch like Sunrider has :P

anyway that being said i LOVED this VN and the ending felt unsatisfied, i have seen people say that all the knots are tied.....i would argue that they are not, hear me out

We aren't #1 yet, we don't even know if we are top 3, that is just a guess we make. Not only that but we did not defeat Akira at his best, just like the MC says, it was a hallow victory, we defeated Akira and some Subs, the B team. and we BARELY defeated them. We just unlocked the secrets of our Core, now what?

Then there's that ending....after the credits, where we are teased about "Marvelle" and we are finally given Ace Academy: Supernova , cool music.... or a possible name for the sequel? I know they joke afterwards saying its just a "joke" but come on guys!! WE WANT THIS!!

My ideas/Hopes for the sequel if it ever does happen is that we continue the story where it left off until we graduate, it could even keep our choices from the first game so we could explore our chosen relationship even more and finally take the #1 spot and defeating Akira's A team. and of course making a decision about our Core

Devs, i know at this point your not going to respond to this thread as your probably deep into your next project but i beg of you. give us Ace Academy 2 !!
