TowerClimb

Controls don't work properly (Xbox wireless 360 controller)
I've two mayor problems with the game using a gamepad (Xbox wireless 360 controller):

1) I can't get the dpad to work properly while I'm trying to climb. With the dpad enabled the game only recognizes up or left/right but not both inputs together. It only works with the analogue stick. Playing the game with the analogue stick alone is way too imprecise for me and leading to many deaths from falling.

2) Often one button press on the pad is recognized twice. Sometimes a blue berry is used instantly for the double jump while pressing the jump button (A) only one time.

These two problems make the game unplayable for me. One wrong button input often means instant death. Your game demands very precise jumps but with unresponsive gamepad controls it's impossible to play. Please fix it.

I'm also disappointed by the lack of functional controller support.

I'm disapointed in the cludgy video options.

It's an issue with 360 controllers we didn't pick up. (360 dpad is a pov hat for some weird reason so we need to add bindings for diagonals) we should be able to fix it relatively easily. What would you want to improve the video options?

Other than that, on our two wired 360 controllers I never get the double press? That could possibly be a controller issue on your end, since we did test with two 360 controllers quite a bit and never ran into that. In any case I'd like to do what I can to fix this asap, as it wasn't something we caught.

Having to turn options on and off to figure out how to play the game full screen at native resolution is pretty cludgy.

If it's informative at all, I have the same issue as OP. I'm using a PS4 controller that my computer recognizes as a 360 controller.

True, the controls for the xbox 360 controller really need a fix.
For some reason my analog stick isn't working.

I definitely know the analog stick works! Something must be wrong on your end if that's not working, maybe you have some weird driver or program running?

It's working on every other game. Maybe I have to change something in the settings?

Are the buttons working? Also is it the "official" 360 controller, or third party?

I, too, have both the 360 controller and DS4 and it's pretty sad that you can't play with the d-pad, is there a possible fix coming? D-pad is the only thing I got the DS4 for :,(

Oh, and I also experienced what I thought to be a double tap issue. Sometimes when I jump of a wall I instanly use my double jump charge. It's weird, but may be its just the mechanics of the game? I'm still not too used to it.

You cant jump off a wall, so youre actually just using the double jump, its intended.

Also there is a fix coming with regards to dpads which are recognized as pov hats :)

Xpadder is a working temporary solution to D-pad issues. Hope this helps

Has this been patched yet? I still have the D-Pad issue.
