Other than that, on our two wired 360 controllers I never get the double press? That could possibly be a controller issue on your end, since we did test with two 360 controllers quite a bit and never ran into that. In any case I'd like to do what I can to fix this asap, as it wasn't something we caught.
Having to turn options on and off to figure out how to play the game full screen at native resolution is pretty cludgy.
If it's informative at all, I have the same issue as OP. I'm using a PS4 controller that my computer recognizes as a 360 controller.
For some reason my analog stick isn't working.
It's working on every other game. Maybe I have to change something in the settings?
Ok, I changed something in the settings. Now it's working! :)
Oh, and I also experienced what I thought to be a double tap issue. Sometimes when I jump of a wall I instanly use my double jump charge. It's weird, but may be its just the mechanics of the game? I'm still not too used to it.
Also there is a fix coming with regards to dpads which are recognized as pov hats :)
