for me the biggest con, yes con, is a sub for 12 months and your armor doesn't go past 25.. lol
Sever people have already exploited weapons and creds.. not mission based either..
Same old same old in about 20-30 lvls if it's not to boring.
I you are even thinking of either buying a new paid account or extending your account and in both cases want the "With Bonus" package, Either do a whole year, or dont bother!
The only subscription that gives you the Real Armor (as designated by the term "Vacuum Packed"), is the full 12 month new account or 12 month extension of a existing Paid account. And, yes, you do get a health discount off the average monthly cost on a full 12 month new account or 12 month extension. And you get that acquired taste flying thing too.
Why this differentiation was not stated from the beginning in the pictorial advertisement of what you get at each level of subscription being 1month, 3 months, 6 months, and of coarse 12 months is a marketing decision that evades any form of logic or consideration to new members and existing members alike.
The comments about people exploiting on the new server are absolute nonsense, those with uber gear are just veteran players, likely to have played for over 10 years and who know what they're doing and actually know how and where to farm all the stuff they need without spending many credits at all. (google AO-universe for tools (clicksaver is a must for rolling items from missions) and guides, AUNO and AO items are item databases)
Granted, a few credits make life a little easier in the very beginning, but I cannot stress enough that you really do not need much in the way of money in game if you use tools like clicksaver or mishbuddy, all you need is a bit of effort, time, patience and the ability to use google to look for anarchy online resources.
Butthurt kiddies are crying about exploited items because they just don't know how/where to farm or make them combined with not knowing how to twink high level gear onto their low level characters, also, the missplaced hatred of multiboxers is quite often due to jealousy.
There is no problem in game as it's all pvm based, Funcom made it almost impossible to multibox in PVP.
I've only had positive experiences with multiboxers in AO, many actually went out of their way to help. They'll often stick about and help you get whatyou need if you come across them in a dungeon or out in the wild, they're obviously going to take what they need first if they were there first, but they will usually hang about after they have what they need.
They'll quite often take noob players under their wing to help them get going and show them the ropes
