I miss AO pre-2006, back then people complained about there being too many players and Ely beach and other zones were crowded and there wasn't enough hecklers/enemies for everyone... but then came 2007/2008 and I missed those annoyances. Now there is so much other content to level with..with a good population the game could be even better then it was before AI and LE.
Funcom gave up on AO a long ago and AO became the redheaded stepchild, Age of conan and secret world got all the love and focus from Funcom.
I believe another problem was that people got bored after years of AO, and wow became a hit and set the standard for what MMORPG's are supposed to be so the grind and depth of AO wasn't appealing (I became a victim of it too after I finally tried wow and other games in 2009 when I couldn't deal with AO anymore. I think that is partly why I wouldn't be content with vanilla AO again)
lmao, you consider that a long reply? That ain't shzzle, I used to have long, indepth (some probably would claim repedative) posts on AO forums,MMORPG forums and the Firefall forums... that was a short reply.
