Unable to start AO

Hello, after installing the game it launches on the login page and password and nothing happens the orange bar loads and at the end come back on password and username, I don't even have the possibility to create a new character.
I already tried to install it several times, disconnect the antivirus, firewal nothing happens.
If anyone could help me thank you.
Config Ryzen 1300x, gtx 1050, 8g of rams, windows 10 64.

Look up my problem, almost the same thing, but it does not even start the game, tried manual patch, and still nothing as I get an error about a file nto being found on the server side. . Uninstalled, reinstalled, and still nothing. And I am also running a Ryzen CPU with AMD

I am also unable to start the game up, hit the play button and the game immediately crashes. I tried running in compatibility mode for both window 7 and windows xp and still get game crash. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm running on Windows 10.

yep same , i guess an old game that still wont work.

You cannot run the game on a resolution over 2048x1536x32. You have to set it in the settings option on the launcher. If you try to play in a higher resolution, it will just poof on you. I figured this out last night.

Well the highest resolution I run this game is a native setting 1920 X 1080, which is , normal HD. And it ran for over a year on this machine, then suddenly, POOF! Nothing, but no, I do NOT play it higher than native HD resolution, even if I wanted to SET it to a lower resolution, you can't unless the game actually launches first!!

Yeah, ok. Well when I tried a resolution over 2048x1536x32, it wouldn't start. So I don't do that. And it works. Go figure.

SOLVED! (my particular problem with logging in, maybe it applies)
I'm having the same problem. Just wanted to check in on my old friend AO after a few years.

AMD FX8320E
AMD R9 380 (running native at 1920x1080)
16gb
SSDx2 (installed on D:)
(thank bro! you know who you are))

hmm..maybe the installation directory needs to be on C, I'll try it, and get back.

EDIT-Run it in windowed/borderless, the character selection is probably just offscreen.
