New player, i chose crat!

Anyone have any insight or tips for me? im planning on playing clan, crat, not sure on the race. im going to launch and decide that now. would love to meet some people.

Not sure if you're on a free account or not but Solitus is usually a safe choice for crat.

Welp i quit my org recently because i was playing solo for 100 lvl straight but i'm stuck as omni.....sucks.

I'd say Nanomage for Froob of any class that depends on nano skills and int/psy. You can use Shades of Lucubration and have a slightly higher Int/Psy, larger nano pool and skills.

But Solitus works fine too.

From my years of playing a bureaucrat I can tell you 2 things: if you intend to go to past lvl 150 anything but nanomage is the way to go, otherwise go nanomage. At high level you rely on your pistol damage and perks to do the damage, your nanopool/intel/psy is a pretty insignificant factor. A high level bureaucrat can also go the evasion route for pve/pvp which makes nanomage a really poor choice.

i ended up quitting about a month ago. made it to 150 on a couple toons. never could get groups, and go bored of soloing / two-boxing. good game though.

i even bought a few grace keys to "stay in the meta" and be the best i could be. like i said, no one wanted to play. all i would see is 5 man (1 player) box teams, and people who only logged on to do the highest end raiding and thats it.

But really i get it, for a game thats been out this long, how do you keep veterans rolling new toons, or even a new playbase active. its the nature of the beast with such an old game. I LOVED it though, for what it was.

reminds me of when i go back and play EQ every now and again. Level to 100 by myself / two box. get bored of playing alone, everyone is at the top end, rinse, repeat.

Yeah the game was actually pretty damn good when it was alive. I logged well over 5000 hours into it. Now though the game is pretty dead.
