Can old account?

I recall back when they adopted the f2p model it was only good for a new account. Has that changed? Can a old subscription account be played as a freep account now?

Nope. Once you upgrade to a subscription account it's like that forever and can never be free.

You use GRACE codes to reactivate it, if you don't use bank info, which is a nice plus

Yeah, you can activate old accounts with grace codes, bought from players or in the AO account website. ( in game they go for about 7-9.5 bill depending on the buy orders in the gmi.

Not sure what other payment methods they use now days, Ive only ever used visa.
If you want to go free i'd say make a free account start over.

or pay for one month, unload all your items you can from that paid account to your new free account and walla, you have a good start on your free account and it only cost you $15 :)
