Best 2box for a shade?!?

I really want to play a shade but I know they have trouble solo leveling. so I was thinking of setting up another alt tab account to help him make it end game. I don't care about PVPing. I just want a PVE duo team. can anyone give me some guidance on what class would help a shade level? I know I will be losing backstab by being the main character. Also I am not a twinked. this is my first account. Thank you again

I'm not very knowledgeable on end game paid players but I'd imagine Shade+Doc would be an amazing combo. Could solo most end game bosses.

and maybe you know that shade is a toon you only can create if you subscribe? This because you need Shadowland.

Yeah I knew about subscribing for some reason I though doc was bad because of healing vs aggro unless it’s an enforcer who can mongo everything

Healing aggro is all but gone, it "jumps to heal back to dd or taunter" I use to outside heal with my tl7 doc on lowby pre 100 mobs works great but agg allways jumps back just good for keeping adds busy.

tbh once your shade hits 125-150 ( if you have the gear and some research and ai lvls under your belt you wont need help from an alt.
they are made for sl lvling with or without alts or teams tbh so much xp dailies from rk and sl you will lvl fairly fast.

game is alot easier for shades now tbh, but if you're set on doing the dual log i'd go 100% keeper, just go all heal auras and heal nano, dmg auras/reflects/absorb so on..( SO you don't have to keep switching unless the keeper gets agg, go full def on the keeper aswell)

just make sure you perk your shade right, once you get decent aad/aao perk and your evades aad set up a bit and go with drains procs for killing quicker.

your heavy dd perks come later down the line, and spirit hunting is irritating so use gmi or spirit siphons.

kind of a blob of info but thye are cool to play I was having a blast solo from lvl 100 once i got my nippys for dd some combined i made I was set, hit sl did dailies and elites rk/sl and then the reck, I was just farming Dark ruins at 150 for research and your alt will help keep that open to farm teamed.

Just to add, at 150 your keeper will be no pushover either. If they only had the auto return attack ( removed.. hummm dang like 2005-2006 i think, was cool to be dual logged / sitting on your ass...

Another edit, sorry, i'm posting from a vet prospective, so as a first account, a shade will be hard, if you dont have the gear to help lvl it, orgs can help, but try to go aad.evade armor setup if you can. ther eis ome items that are great but will cost either an arm or a leg, or camping from higher peeps.

Starting as a fresh account, unless you have access to atradeskiller, id' say go with what is cheap and easy, because shade get expensive later and making alphas can take some farming, but thats way later.

weapons are going to be an issue lower lvls, rapiers ( good ones) with either have to be made or bought at a stupid price, I to be truthful used the kyr spear it looks like kyr sword but can be got super cheap and up graded, granted no multi melee but that can allways be setup later.

as per expected the "better gear" come sway later in lvls, i was lucky I had my alts to spoil my shade.
tattoos can be nice but hard to farm boss wise, omni steel ribbedhas great evade adds, not sure if or what the clan version is, some ok vic point weapons and armor is nice.

but I can swap them as needed. I am still in the newbie armor as it levels with me.

You went Atrox Shade? That's generally worse in every way except for PvP

TBH, I used piercing lower lvl so i could get those steps of madness weapons on (fear forged blades) then i switched to Kyro'zch spear at around lvl 60.

Remember you have a heal proc nano in the vic nanos booth, and a heal proc nano garden based iirr. Been a while.
Some great evade aad nanos aswell

lvl 125 the quest opens up to get the Run Speed nano that work sin sl, faster than my shadow, need higher lvl help, but hella cool nano

I perked
Spirit Phylactery :( aad/aao and perk add sup after a while and makes you hard to kill )
Shadow: for the same perks and evade setups
Piercing Mastery : for ar and helping get weapons on due to spirits sucking lower lvl, and the perks aint to bad later on.
Totemic rites: heals and offensive perks and dmg.
Acrobat: evades

if I had spare I usualy put them into the xp perk line in general or hp then reset them to use if I was lvl locked.
later on tl5 ish I started to target CiB as I was going aad/evade setup ( combined commando )

has a decent perk list and nano list just somewhat out of place on some quest nanos.

to note on your mention earlier, if you wanted an alt to use and you was going to solo alot, a crat is probably the best and perk the solitus genome for healing , survival i think its called, is also an awesome option as all the aad/aao a crat has stacks with a shade.

when I go farm Alabatrum ( typo ) in Inferno I use my shade crat combo, sick dmg and defence setups.

I just love keepers tbh lol i will allways have a keeper alt tbh on follow I think I had one at every tl lvl, was crazy when i made my NT and keeper /follow..


I miss the game, I just got tired of loot sales or low population orgs and having to wait on LFT with 10 people.
roaming through zones with maybe 5 people tops for me was just getting to much, in the end I just quit, the cost wasnt worth the time spent anymore sadly.
The population is probably still around 275-350 tops, it just saddened me they let it go the way they did, but I am excited and waiting for Mutant war zero.
