I am considering coming back for old times. Doubt I will pay for sub tho so may start as froob. Use to love the pet classes but not sure what to play now. Would do Fixer but Is Grid Armor still impossible to get or overly costly?

GA is still quite rare, especially early version, though not impossible to get. the best is to farm dyna bosses or RK team missions.

About pet classes, there are engineer, meta-physicist and bureaucrat, though they're very different from each other.

Ya I had a max 200 MP and almost same in crat and engi I think was my lowest of em. MP was buggy as anything when I last played. The mez pet was about useless. Sometimes the pets would just sit there. Maybe Ill make another Engi it was fairly fun. GA makes the fixer class from what I remembered.

I am playing a 201 MP, never had issues with pets, and the mez pet is really useful in team mission when you don't have a crat. As your 3 pets have different purposes, it's not easy to control, the mez pet needs an attack command for it. When you're soloing, this pet combination is really useful and saved me a lot of times.

I also got a 195 engi, pet control is much easier because you can control both your pet with same commands and don't care about seperating them.

But in the end, the mp is much more efficient in solo than the engi due to crowd control, and this crowd control is also very useful in team if you don't have any other crowd controller.

Beware, pet /hunt is no more. You have to manually command the pets to do things now, except follow which it does automatically.
