IDK I hope someone could try making a CheatEngine table.

I'd like to be able to play any setting from the start without having to unlock everything first. I mean you unlock something for a small chance of it occuring? That is weird to me.

We're reluctant to add cheat codes to the game, considering there's a global highscore table. Some people have been asking for an easy mode, so maybe we could add an easier mode and disable the highscores when you use it? Is this something that you, the players, would like?

Personally, I don't care about scores or tables, just want to be able to play the game however I please rather than how you guys decided to balance it - rightly or wrongly. So my vote is in favor.

Ideally, it would be nice to have the precise control of what exactly I make easier, rather than just an overall "everything is easy" mode. Also, if you have an official "easy" mode, that'd be one more mode that needs testing and balancing, which will add to your costs. IMO, a better solution would be to just make a money cheat, which I could then spend on areas where I want things to be easier. I'm assuming that most things in the game can be made easier with more money? That would be trivial to test and the balance will be what the player decides to make it, so you don't have to worry about it in your testing. And, to preserve your leaderboards' sanctity, just disable scoring as soon as the cheat is used.

We hear you, and we'll try to engineer this into the next update.

I would like an option to simply unlock all the other options to launch a game. I mean the unlocking progression might be nice for some, but I do not think it fits the game very well. I want to have a customizable launch option, where all the things are options rather than chances.

I also do not really want any high scores anyway. Maybe allow for a custom start with everything unlocked, where high scores aren't recorded? But it would allow full customization options to the player.

Dear Developers, any update on cheat code? Thank you

There are cheat codes available, when clicking on the dogs face, however I was still looking for an option to unlock the different modes, rather than cheating in a mode and not earning achievements. I want the different game settings available to me to have a different experience. If I can't get to them, what is the point of cheat codes that don't allow me access?

I could probably grind my way to unlock them, but I'd much rather have more customizing options available from the start for the player to tinker with. This game does not seem suited to an unlock progression system.

Two cheat codes are in the game since version 1.20:

We can add more cheat codes in future updates for unlocking scenarios. It's just that nobody else has ever asked for this, so it wasn't a priority.

That is okay. Personally I think it shouldn't be required to unlock them at all and I would much rather have them available from the start, as I wrote in my post above from October last year. :)

If you play well you should be able to unlock everything within one to three games (it's a total of 1100XP, after all). To me it's odd that I'd have a random chance of spawning as an option I selected, rather than being able to go into a game knowing exactly what's going to be set up and how I'm going to RP it. It'd be like going into XCOM's Second Wave settings and not knowing which ones activated until you started the game.

This comment really confused me, until I realized that the scenario descriptions are actually wrong. To be precise, they are outdated, because in a very early version of Rogue State scenarios were selected randomly.
But this was long ago, and now you can just pick your scenario at the beginning of the game. We will update these decriptions in the next patch.

Oh, neato! I literally just finished my first game last night, haven't even had a chance to spend my earned XP yet. Good to know!
