Pleasantly short. They added a Smissmas mode (that remains enabled). I like the scene you are in. Everything happens on the small moon in front of you, so you can walk all around it. If you like Allumente, but want a shorter experience where nobody dies, this will satisfy you. I also live up in space.

It's a short VR movie. Really short. Still worth watching though (since it's free)!

Title has been made free, so changing my recommendation to a yes as it is fun little movie.

Only a short movie with full immersion, but it's really nice to watch and woth the download and 10 minutes of your time.

Penrose Studios is the publisher/creator responsible for the 20 minute short film Allumette; a somewhat stop-motion animation inspired event. Preceeding that release is The Rose and I, another short release that takes on a lot of the same animation qualities as the aforementioned title. However, The Rose and I only lasts for about five minutes, and the story isn't very well crafted. There are some planets that zoom around, and you watch a little guy water a flower and then he sits down to gaze at the sunset. Honestly, that's it. If you're really down to experience all VR has to offer, at least this title is free. Otherwise, it's really not worth spending any time on, and you're better off giving Allumette or Google Spotlight Stories: Son of Jaguar a try instead.

This is just a short little movie really. It's sorta like being inside a claymation movie where you can look around at all angles. It's not that impressive after you've been using VR for a week but if it was your first try at VR it would be pretty cool. But again, it's really short.

Download it, check it out, go "ooh neat" and then forget about it until you want to show off the VR to someone else.

This is the first thing I show people when I'm demoing my Vive. It's short, yes, but incredibly beautiful and precisely executed. You can't help but fall in love with "The Rose and I"... and I, for one would have gladly spent a penny or two on this. However, this is insanely free, don't question it, if you have a Vive, install it.

Cute and super enjoyable short movie. No not a movie, an experience.

The Rose and I is a free VR experience. Worked on my system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok.
Happy and short story. Standing position only and no interaction.
