Just a warning for potential buyers

Save yourselves the trouble of buying this game. Does not work on Win7 x64. Store page has small foot note print on this game. It is not supported for Windows Vista. Someone else mentioned to use as a workaround: setting your RAM to 2GB, this is cumbersome and does not work for me.

Ive been unable to get this game to run, im running 64 bit windows 7, with 16GB of RAM. the game just crashes instantly the second i try to open it. no error message, no delay, just immediately black screens and stops responding. i've been unable to find any fixes or methods of getting it to run, any advice would be much appreciated

Same here. I used to be able to play this on my old setup with Windows XP, that's no longer an option for me.

Just loaded the game on Windows 7 64-bit with 16GB of RAM; the game loads fine and skirmishes work. However, everytime I try to launch campaign mode, the game crashes.

I've got Windows 7 64-Bit /w 16 gigs of RAM and everytime I try starting the game it immediately crashes and I get the following error message-

"OpenPIMipmapChain: Unable to locate a valid DDS, JPG or TGA file for 'SolidColors'."

Weird, I have windows 8 64 bit and it works for me. Usually if something doesn't work on 7 it doesn't work on 8, guess I lucked out this time.

Yoy have to restrict the memory to 2gb and it will run, ie run msconfig restrict to 2gb reboot and run

See my original post, this does not work for me!
Trust me, Im a software engineer with only legit software and latest stable drivers.
