Controls on the system look like PS4 buttons I wonder if you can change them?

From what see the game was set up for PS4 Controler buttons I wonder if you can set the controller to Xbox 360 buttons for PC?

This is an idiotic choice by the devs. Pure idiocy. First, the Xbox controller is overwhelmingly ubiquitous for pc gaming.

Second, steam only just recently added native PS4 controller support.

So why the choice? Can it be changed in game? I was about to buy this game too. So frustrating.

Steam beta currently supports configuring all controlss for most controllers now especially the main 3, PS4, XBONE, and of course my beloved STEAM CONTROLLER

for some reason when im using my xbox one controller i can't cycle through ANY of the menus. it's making it basically unplayable with my controller because i can't upgrade or anything. i can move my character fine, but i can't cycle through the menus at all.

I too cannot use my XBox one controller in the game. And since it is detecting my controller, but not using it correctly, I can't change to mouse and keyboard.
