Can not move to the left column in first act

Hi
I've done all things required to climb on the wall, but hero doesn't go from right column to the left one but just walks on the spot.
Did anyone else encounter such problem?

Yes, I have the same issue.... bitterly disappointed that I couldn't even get past the first few mins of the game but hope there is a fix for the issue....

I'm just going to attempt a re-play from a different machine and make sure I have thoroughly looked at all the interaction points before putting the boards across the columns - there may be a glitch if you don't follow a certain procedure. If that doesn't work I'll go and see if the Deep Silver community has any info. I can always log in there and pop a question on the boards - or have you looked there already?

I replayed from the beginning (on the same PC) following built-in walkthrough line-to-line and it worked ;)

You don't need a link. There is a walkthrough built into the game. Just click on the book icon at bottom right of screen. There's nothing wrong with the game. You have to do more than put the boards across the ledge. You have to attach them with a steel clip from the broken wagon.
