Like three minutes in. Why?

Just finished Lost Horizon and I loved it.
Bought the adventure game pack for ten bucks just now to eagerly start LH2.

Why?
Why put the inventory on the top of screen now when the previous game and nearly every adventure game has it at the bottom.
Why is there a built in walkthrough?
The tutorial pop up told me there will be TIMED events? wtf.
Why can I not just use a key on a door? Why does it zoom in super far on the door so I have to move my camera around to see both the key and the knob and drag my mouse cursor to turn the key and the knob.
Why?
Wtf why?

Edit:
I heard Fentons voice and then he used that voice to say that Kim is out of the picture.
Minimized the game again to read reviews.
Guess I have all the other games in the pack to play instead...

Fenton is also a completely different character than he was in game 1. Now he has a serious tough guy voice and he is without any humor at all. Uninstalling unfortunately.
