I am playing the original Spellforce, and Spellforce Destiny games also, and neither is having a problem.
First of all, save before clicking on the puzzle.
- click on one of the parts of the puzzle
- set the piece you want
- click on the next part of the puzzle
- when you have to choose the piece to set, cancel
- you are back in normal view, move your character so that it has the next part and the one after in the same direction (so that you can see both when it focuses)
- repeat process
It works, but there will be another problem : you basic attack won't work anymore when you click a monster. Your spells are still working. For basic attack, move you character close to monster and let it auto-attack.
Really boring, but you can go to the end of the game this way...
If I find anything I'll post it here.
But the good news is I was able to continue with the game with this.
