Evil path in Spellforce 2?

Is there any worth in being 'evil' in the main campaign, like not reporting Hedwig for being a cultist or sparing the necromancer in the valley in Norimar?

It only unlocks the red cult quest if I'm not mistaken. There's a boss battle kinda climax at the normally inaccessible part of the Westguard as far as I can remember.

I was only curious as I am often doing 'evil' playthrougs in these kinds of a game, when it is availible. And is the quest anything worth it?

Gear reward and some XP I think, not worth doing evil stuff in your first playthrough imo ^^

Probably. I just do not want to miss up on anything.

same here. i know sparing the guy at the vault of the dead in norimar unlocks a bunch of content.
but im curious of hedwig has anything else. i know she gives you a ring in westguard. but apart from that is there anything?
