Spellforce 2 does not boot on Win11

Spellforce 2 does not boot on Win11 at all. Steam shows that I am in a game for a few seconds and then nothing happens, game does not boot, Windows does not show any errors. Changing compability mode to Win8 did not help. On Win10 everything worked fine. All drivers are up to date and working properly.

I know this is going on 5 months old but I have no issues with it booting up.

it's stated nowhere that the game works on windows 11 on the system requirements, what were you expecting?

I'm on 11 and it works fine for me. Set the exe to launch as admin though, I had some crashes till I did that, then it was fine.

it's not the customers job to fix it, make it work

So you want a dev team, which does not work on this game anymore.. to fix a problem?
Ah... and next you wonder why Age of Empire 1 does not get anymore updates?
