Floating Things!

What are those floaty things that apper over the units? like for the dwarfs they get a mohawk of waht ever they are!

They indicate the level of the dwarf, up to five, they level up for getting a kill and they have to be the one to land the last hit for it to be a kill. It gives a small stat increase I believe, I have no real way of knowing but I think it slightly increases defence & attack.

Elves get two seperate glowing orbs on their shoulders, white is when they are standing between trees which gives a mana regen I think, the other is a green one which I forget why it shows up or what it does.

Other than those I don't recall any special particle effects for units.

Hmmm, first time I've heard of the stat boost.

I agree on the number of kills for dwarven "lights".

Elvish: They appear at night, so elves can see in the dark, since they aren't drow.

it only came to my attention these things when i was zoomed in to check out the dwarf worker n was like WOAH! that soldiers got a mohawk....made of stars 0.o, i really wanna know if they have a role in the game or not
