I've quickly read through the features of "Reimagined".
Apparently there are quite some changes in the code, so I am not sure if that's easily fixable.
You could try the Spellforce Editor and finding variables on your own. But that could turn into ages.
I really miss some of AngelTrumps QoL-mods and UI-enhancements, but he totally refused to update to 1.61 either. :(
I've previously sworn on 1.54 myself, but with the last update, some QoL-enhancements got added to 1.61 and a lot of fixes too.
Especially 4K-support is awesome with the new one (no more sloppy workarounds required).
At the end, v1.54 refused to start with the widescreen patch (getting an error message that the resolution is not supported), so I've let this one die.
1.61 still works like a charm. <3
I was about to dive into code editing, because i love Amra and Lea quest, but some thing in the back of my head told to me to check all the pages for the mod.
And of coruse there's a fix on ModDB for my exact bug (I just hadn't noticed it) posted year ago.
You can prevent it by installing it, or if you are stuck at confront Sentos mid campaign use these commands:
doscript("GdsVariables")
QuestSolve {QuestId = 384}
QuestBegin {QuestId = 385}
Quest will progress to next stage, meeting sentos at Wildland Pass.
Some of my ramblings about version/mod:
Playing on 1.54 sucks, but im used to doing workaround in old games :P
Yeah, 1.61 QoL is amazing, but i beat this game so many times, i wanted to have a really fresh start. Reimagined is almost like a remake, there's plentifull changes. You can still feel the spellforce vibe, but now everything is better.
From smal stuff, like Utran having walls and towers, camps looking like actual camps, cities, Liannon being an actual village, not a 3 random houses.
To big stuff like Wildland Pass having camp that spawns reinforcments from Liannon to help you push trough, with all the area before second monuments being redesigned.
I hope it will get ported to new version, just so more players can enjoy this mod.
I just wish there would be a proper widescreen solution for 1.54 that still works.
Even if I use the highest available resolution on the current available widescreen patch, the game just crashes with an error for me.
