OS_GetDataStorageLocation()
Bonjour a tous ! j'aimerais rejouer a ce jeux mais des que je lance il me met ce message d'erreur, j'ai beau éssayer de le démarrer avec une vieille version de windows ça ne fonctionne pas, pareil si je le démarre sur les anciennes version...

Merci d'avance pour votre aide :)

Hi there ! I would like to play this game again but as soon as I launch it gives me this error message, I try to start it with an old version of windows it does not work, the same if I start it on the old version. ..

I've the same problem
I play on PC with WIn10
Last Year I had no problems to play the game

Please check below thread and maybe try suggested solutions. Nothing has changed to your software or PC components recently? Which version did you install? (1.54, 1.61 or public beta)? You should be able to find a log text file here (C:\Users\Documents\SpellForce) - open it after game crash and alternatively share its content in this thread. Last question, where is your steam client and its game directory saved? (SSD or HDD)? Considering the option that SpellForce is quite an old game, there might be the problem with SSD, but for now it is only my speculation.

Now I've changed intallation on C and everything is ok

1/2 game worked on my old laptop (w10 7700k 1070) but dont work on my actual PC 5600x 6800 XT w10

3/ i test all version, no one work for me

Please try to install the game on disc C (steam should suggest this as default installing path, do not make any changes) and then update to 1.61 version. After that make sure to run the game as administrator. If the error still occurs, then turn off onedrive service and check again (only if you have/use it, otherwise skip this step). You can also turn off steam cloud option in settings and check.

Ok, lets give it one more try.

1. Unistall SpellForce from your PC. After that please remove also SpellForce folder located here (C:\Users\Documents\SpellForce).
2. Install the game on steam (default installing path) and then update to 1.61 version.
3. Authorize the spellforce.exe or add to exclusion list in your antivirus.
4. Verify integrity of game files on steam - instruction below.

5. If integrity check is successful, then run the game as administrator.

If the error still appears, then you can either change installing path in point 2 to HDD (D) and repeat the rest of steps or report the problem to THQ Nordic (link below). The chance that they will reply is like 1%, however we have no more options in that case. Maybe someone else on steam forum who faced the same issue and managed to resolve it would share any additional information here.
