does anyone know how to install the reimagined mod

Hello, I have a problem because I tried to install the Spellforce Reimagined mod. I downloaded the mod from the official website and followed all the steps in the PDF file for installation. However, when I try to transfer these files, the game either does not start or completely crashes before the first cutscene in the main campaign.

I had a situation where the game started, but only some animations were loaded from the mod. In addition, the created character appeared without the starting items (mind mage). Is there a way to fix this so that the mod works properly?

What official website? The author only uploaded it to moddb afaik, and if you're downloading it from anywhere else you risk an unsupported version or worse.
As for installation, its just extracting all the files into your Spellforce folder, replacing the gamedata and all the maps.
You might also need to switch to 1.54 version as Reimagined is not yet available on newer versions but that should change soon.

I installed all the files from moddb and replaced them, but after replacing them with version 1.54 the game either crashed on startup or after creating a character, just before the first cutscene.

Change the files after switching to 1.54 otherwise the patching will overwrite some of the mod files

Try playing with the settings of config.lua, make sure there's a "ScreenResolution = 1" line in it or you can just try deleting the file itself.

Widescreen fix didn't bring any results and the missing drivers error still appeared.

After adding ScreenResolution = 1 in config.lua in version 1.54 the game requested a serial key which I don't have because I bought it on Steam and the key wasn't included.

After uninstalling the game and deleting all files from its folder and then reinstalling version 1.61 without any mods or modifications, after starting the game a message appears and the game closes itself.

It should just make sure to pick the correct .exe file
