Report a translation problem
Once you open it with Word or something, replace the number in screen resolution to "1" without changing anything else then save over the file
Googling gave me one to use, but that didn't work either.
The log file in Documents\SpellForce, has a lot of "[INFO][UTL]: Error reading the config file config.lua. Default values used." ending with "[TERMINATION] UTL_QuickIntegrator::CreateDisplay()
Desired resolution not found. Please install latest drivers!"
Any ideas? Anyone have a working config.lua that can be posted for me to use?
I used the information in the thread located on this board (Thread Name: CD key, Rising Black Screen & Resolution Fix) to get to the following webpage: http://www.wsgf.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=23880&start=50
This had a 7zip file with a modified executable for specific resolution screens. Replacing the STEAM executable with the one for my screen resolution allowed this to work without the config.lua file. I have been able to play, save, load, etc without problem since making this replacement.
Godspeed future problem havers.
This is what it shows for me:
