SpellForce Platinum Edition - No subtitles

Have any of you ever encountered such a situation that after launching the game in the main menu there are no subtitles? In fact, it's not just in the main menu, but in the whole game... There are no descriptions of items, classes, equipment, dialogues, nothing at all, can you fix it somehow?

Whats your language ingame? Sounds like there are no fitting font files for your language and screen-resolution combination.

Whats your language ingame? Sounds like there are no fitting font files for your language and screen-resolution combination.

The English language is set, and as for the resolution, if it seems to me correctly, it is set to 2560x1440, but in this situation I do not even know how to change it, since there are no subtitles

Whats the game version you are using? Also close discord if you have it open since its UI can also cause issues, next to sharpening stuff on the GPu driver side.

Hm... i have an idea, how about you switch back to 1.54 (see here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1726994915 )
and then try this mod ( https://steamcommunity.com/app/39540/discussions/0/3828666806668606661/ ) by me that will assure fonts and resolution working on that version.

After the startup, you can change the ingame resolution and change the version back to your 1.61 with your new graphical settings. If the game version itself is not the troublemaker, then you can always play on good old 1.51

Well, unfortunately, even after undoing the version of the game first did not start and asked for DirectX9, of course I downloaded but the error remained, after trying to install the patch still does not start, then I tried to restore the latest version and after the patch suddenly again error in the start, I had to reinstall the whole game again and returned to the starting point: /

Maybe this is the fault of the system because I have Windows 11 but I do not know if this is the problem, because this example spellforce 2 works very well for me and I do not have any problems and here, unfortunately, is a problem and I have no idea how to go about it and whether it can be somehow fixed

Please try the following steps:
1. revert back to 1.54
2. install the mod again with the lifebarfix activated in the setup
3. start the new shortcut on your desktop and the via steam.

If you have trouble you can also ask for help on the forum the mod is located.

Take the latest one 1.7 and yes the main game installation location. Check the manual.pdf if you have questions.

I do not know what's going on but this mod does not want me to install, I waited yesterday an hour after selecting the folder with the game I waited and nothing has installed, and this morning I turned on for over 8 hours and still does not install. Any advice? And by the way, what to do with this one more file because in this installation manual there is not a single mention of what to do with this file or throw it into a folder or leave it?

Are you just starting the setup out of the rar file?
As you can see on page 6 of the manual, you have to extract ALL files out of the rar file and then start the extracted setup.exe like shown (manual page 6). The manual says everything.
And please do not forget to start it explicit with admin permissions (manual page 7) or it will have issues to place the files under win 11.

The manual explains it all very clearly.

#xxxx (for "x" some different numbers type 7077) <has no entry> UI

Are we talking the mod exe running or the game vanilla itself? Also you are now on 1.54 (steambranch) right?

This also looks like english is not your steam standard language.

So it is running on the exe mod and version 1.54, I did everything as it should. I have to change the language on steam to work?
