Bad Bugs (?) esp. in the mainquest - any suggesstions?
Hello anybody,
i´ve played SF long time ago from cd. Now I started again with the Steam version. Here are my problems:

1. The shard of time (summer) was not dropped by the dragon Fymir
2. There is no clue / hint for the shard of time (autumn) from that elven girl - she only says she had a mission but can´t trust me - and that´s it. Of course! Why should she trust me when I just rescued her from captivity and execution! Now she won´t talk to me at all.
3. I got that piece of metal from Fayt. It´s now in my inventory but the quest log doesn´t update. So Flint McWinter do not react when I try to give him that piece.

Please do not suggest to start the game anew. I just played over 50 hrs.

Do you have any old saves you can load? Spellforce bugs out quite a lot (actually all Jowood games do). It's really best to make backup saves, as you exit each maps, that you NEVER write over. Because there is a good chance that at some point you will find that a quest piece is missing or some event causes you game to crash every time. And then when you roll back to an old save, from 1 or 3 maps ago, and play through it all again, suddenly it works.

Thanks, re-play worked with the map Falorn´s Hope. The rest was an awsome mixture: user stupidity + dev. stupidity. I had forgotten that there were 2 dragons in Farlorn´s Hope - my fault. The 2nd Dragon eventually dropped the shard.
Concerning the other problems:
1. When I visited the map with (the meanwhile dead) Fayt the quest log updated suddenly.
2. You MUST go back to Mulandir an talk to the guardian. Only then the quest goes on. It´s quite stupid because the user would try to get all shards he can before returnig to him.
