Well, one could say that Spellforce I is very unique and one of a kind so that's understandable.
All in all i also didnt play SpellForce3 but i played SpellForce1 multiple times over the years and i wouldnt mind another run on a Remaster/Remake version. That being said a Remake would be better because i dont want a Remake that includes the same issues the original has like bad Skill balance.
Nah they clearly can tweak the RPG part of the game mainly how you build your character. I also believe Evasion doesnt work the way it should as enemys have pretty high hit ratio so Dex feels rather pointless in that regard.
Also...
can't believe I'm replying to it just now because I forgot about mentioning it the last time, but... yeah you could sit for hours on just one map in SF1, but it's probably because it's way slower than SF2.
In SF 1 you need to steamroll or farm (instead of rushing) to get enough xp, but otoh the whole xp & level system does make it rewarding finishing off all the enemies and doing all the quests, which I feel was missing in SF 2. It probably did not help that items did not made a big difference like they did in SF 1.
I do think SF 1 maps had too much backtracking, some more bindstones near quest NPC's would have helped.
