Damn, the list of changes is insane. I'm a bit disappointed to see most of magic schools nerfed in terms of cast time and CDs - IMO, there was no reason for it. But buffs to items across the board, alleviated hybrid-spec requirements, and especially improved spears make me want to jump in immediately and finally try out a Light/Heavy warrior hybrid. Also, new locations and enemies sound intriguing.

The mod has undergone a lot of testing and a lot of spells have been made stronger as a result, so the longer cast time/CD has been added to kinda combat that. But on the flip side, every school of magic should now feel relevant.
I wouldn't mind if the author just straight up buffed spells without any balancing/nerfs involved. TTK with spells was already much longer than, say, compared to a melee fighter, and you faced mana issues at every step along the way. Yet magic enemies have never posed much of a problem, except for the ones that permanently freeze you.

this looks fantastic. But is the Mod more optical and fix some issues and Spawn times, Spawns and the story are the same right?
Very nice looking, I've just read the PDF. Please keep working on it and also bring some changes to BoW and SotP as well as adjusting spawns :D I don't know if you can do that, but as far as I noticed the difficulties settings don't do much, maybe you can work with that?

Finally worth it (for me) to play Ice/Fire (And maybe Mental or Necro for Blades)^^

Idea for the inactive portals: Why not make it 'challenge' maps? I know you can't do certain stuff, but wouldn't it be possible to take, let's say coop or online maps and link them to the portals? Just for small venture beyond the stories borders, just for the fun of it. You could copy those maps and adjust them, making them places to clear or stuff, kinda like a dungeon crawler with challenging enemy spawns and bosses.

I know this would mess up the experience but maybe one can disable experience gain on those maps. Or one just saves before them and reloads when finished, I don't know. Just an idea. Your opinion?
