-Still think a all-out one or two handed blunt build is the most op. You'll end up hitting for 300-500 each hit lol
Black Magic - Curse:
- Some not so great weakening auras ( Aura of Suffocation - best weakening aura belongs to Death Magic ... )
- Poison deals low damage,
- Dispel and Remediless have almost no use in campaign ( not enough enemies with healing and white auras )
- Dark Banishing and Mutation have niche usage ( you need Necromancy or Death Magic to make them any usefull ).
Mind Magic - Enchantment:
- if your charms works, you will have easy time.
- if your charms don't work, you can start to hit enemies with your staff ...
Mind Magic - Offensive:
- same as Enchantment excluding Shock Spells
- Shock spells damage depends on target intelligence ( guess who in campaign has biggest Intelligence )
White Magic - Life:
- no offensive spells - better find good hitting staff
White Magic - Boons:
- if you are fighting undeads, you are killing machine
- if you are fighting anything else ... you will do slightly beter than option above ( you have buffing auras... )
Elemental Magic - Earth:
- before Shadow o Phoenix not as good as Fire or Ice Magic
it does..
it doesnt
so probably ill play black/elemental magic + something because i wont be playing Earth and curse
At the same time it can disturb enemies quite well ( If Hypnosis, Charms etc. are working ). Also possibility of having "infinite" mana is also worth investing.
