No towers in breath of winter ?

So I started the dlc and I'm confused that I can't build any towers, so far I'm lvl 12 at the city of ice elves and still didn't find any blueprints for towers... And I like towers :c So did I miss something or you just can't build them in BoW ?

I definitely had elf towers by Wildland Pass. I probably hadn't had them for long by then, because I spam towers everywhere as soon as I can and Wildland Pass is the first time I remember using them in BoW. Can't remember exactly where I got them though. I think I had the human towers by then too. I think I found the elf ice towers somewhere in Greydusk Vale a bit later. Bit vague, I know, but; yes... definitely towers in BoW.

Neither Wildland Pass nor Greydusk Vale appear in BoW though.

D'oh! Ooops... of course... I was thinking The Order of Dawn. I remember now that towers do arrive quite late in BoW. I remember thinking, 'towers would be good here' ,quite a few times before I actually had them. But, although I can't remember again when or where I got hold of them, they do appear eventually.

yea BOW focus's on actually using troops and various techniques, which I like. Distance attackers to farm stuff with some meat shield warriors to keep foes off them. Change of tactics since the other games using towers, but still pretty good once you get the hang of it. You dont get towers until Nevershade Frontier i think, dark elf towers and thats more than 1/2 way through the game, maybe 2/3rds of the way, so really work on troop usage over towers, you won't see them for a bit.
