Question about difficulty levels and tarot cards.
I recall reading somewhere that tarot cards carry over to different difficulty levels. Is this true? If I were to collect all the cards on normal, would I be able to use them all on hard?

Also, if I were to beat the normal game, but NOT collect all the cards, and then move onto hard difficulty, would I be able to switch back to normal and collect the cards before moving back to where I was in hard?

Also, can you use cards on the hardest difficulty? I know you don't get souls on it, but I'm not sure about the cards.

Everything you said it true EXCEPT once you change difficulties, all levels are locked and you must complete them in order to get back to where you were.

So wait, I can't go back to normal difficulty once I start on hard? Or are you saying I can go back to it, but I'll need to start from the beginning but I'll still have all my cards?

Everytime you change difficulty you start a new playthrough but you keep the cards (and money I think). You can use cards on Trauma (but not on the easiest difficulty).

Ah, right, that clears things up quite a bit.

I've recently been playing on normal and was considering switching to hard, but I figure I'll collect all the tarot cards on normal first, as I hear some of them are pretty damn challenging to get, then get the last one on hard with the help of the previous cards, and then finally get to trauma difficulty.

Or maybe I'll just play a few levels and get bored seeing as I already beat the game years ago.

Thanks a lot though Both of you.

You can restart the game with all tarot cards and scores unlocked if you want or you can disable them if you want.
