Save files not working?

After reinstalling my PC I was reset to the beggining, steam didn't give me my save files back. All the stats on steam show how far I have got but the game it self is back to zero. Any ideas?

Hi! The Ben and Ed save files are stored laocally on your computer. If you deleted them with the game, you still could ask somebody to send you a save file with a completed game. (or i can send you one. Just add me as a friend.)

Ahh dang. I assumed it was saved into steam like other games... I will just have to play it all again, and thats not a bad thing haha =D. ( Was up to the level with the slow moving platforms )

Any chance getting a save is still possible? Old computer got fried and just booted up the game to see everything reset on this new one (not the achieves but bencalypse, checkpoints, levels, and cans all reset)
