Is there a windowed mode?
The fullscreen mode is a terrible idea for this game, can i play this in a window?

Yes, but it will still be buggy and crash randomly, therefore I would recommend you to save frequently

Yup, just like the other guy said, save regularly but it does autosave during gameplay as well so no worries.
