Hey, we didn't miss April! Presenting to you PATCH v1.9.0 (out now), adding the long awaited Chart Editor support, plus revealing our special game collaboration in today's update.

Bring the sun to a knife fight in the second half of our April song additions: a BRAND NEW UNBEATABLE TRACK from the D-CELL Sound Team based on the indie classic OneShot and the track "IT'S TIME TO FIGHT CRIME."

But you're doing .. .. the crimes. In this game. So the name is different.

This is our promised collaboration for April - a labor of love among the D-CELL SOUND TEAM and the first brand new track from the team since our launch in December. (We've been tired.) We hope you enjoy!

Introducing one of our long-awaited features: A standalone, official chart editor that you can use to make your own custom levels and then put into the game. This is actually the tool we used to make levels in UNBEATABLE.

• Fixed and improved on BG dimming in the rhythm gameplay. This option should now work more as intended throughout the game.

• Fixed some shader errors.

• Fixed an issue where depending on order of operations, the set volume adjuster for our game videos would f*** up game volume.

• Added a potential fallback to prevent softlocks / "black screen" boots occurring in the event the system options is left empty.

• (XBOX Only) Issues with saves wiping randomly have been addressed.

• Adds "IT'S TIME TO CRIME", the UNBEATABLE X OneShot collab, to the ARCADE MODE.

• Adds "GO FIGURE"'s STAR chart to the ARCADE MODE.

• (PC Only) Custom Song Support has been implemented.

• (Consoles Only) Adds "DO NO HARM (Atrial Mix)", from the PC-exclusive April Fools update to the ARCADE MODE.

• Fixed sprite layering issues when using the Beat (Nothing) character in rhythm gameplay.

• Fixed incorrect difficulty name for PROPER RHYTHM (ALL THERE IS TO IT).

• Fixed misaligned band placements in ARCADE MODE stages.

• Added a new song jacket for MIC CHECK.

• (BREAKOUT EDITION) goin' crazy mix has been updated, and the sync is adjusted.

  • BREAKOUT EDITION: goin' crazy on UNBEATABLE difficulty has been re-rated from lvl 19->20 (note: no major changes were made to the chart)

• (PC Only) Added misc. / licensing info for various collab songs in the game.

  • To be added for consoles in PATCH 1.10.

• (Consoles Only) Major performance improvements are now carried over from PATCH V1.8.3b with ARCADE MODE stages.

• (Consoles Only) Fixed health not regenerating on stages outside of the train station (previously fixed already in PC V1.8.3b).

• Improved visibility of the vending machine rhythm interactable at nighttime (Chapter 3).

• Fixed a handful of minor bugs in Chapter 5 cutscenes.

• Game Performance: We improved stage performance in our last update and are looking into even more improvements in later updates!

• Fail-Restart and Improvements to Game Offset Sync: Yes, we're still working on this!

• "Spike Note Bugs": We've been still investigating this - a lot of work is being done under the hood to make certain patterns more consistent and less frustrating to deal with, but we don't want to band-aid the problem, so we're being thorough and doing more testing internally. Initial tests were promising, so we're continuing more work on this!

• "Subtitles in Voiced Cutscenes": We have something in the works for this :)

• And again always, just because we didn't mention an issue here does not mean we aren't aware of it!

Revealed over the weekend is a special reveal of one of PATCH v1.10's songs, Small Cloud Sugar Candy from hit rhythm game Arcaea! This update will hit sometime in May, alongside one extra song!
