I'm not sure, I installed them in that order with QP included and the game worked fine but I uninstalled them later because I hated that the quest pack didn't have any audio and the old armors from previous gothic even that were nostalgic, they didn't fit well esthetically for me in gothic 3 so I can't tell you if there's any bug
Well, the community patch basically fixes many bugs, improve the performance of the game, and make it harder, I totally recommend it.
The content mod add many weapons, items and armors from the previous titles giving more customization options for the hero and unique items, it also change the appearance of the world and some characters, for example orcs and main characters like Gorn, Lester, Milten, Diego, and the nameless hero, to make them look like in the previous titles, some monsters' appearance changes are optional.
Personally I think some textures are too light and contrast too much with the original ones and the new dark textures applied to the world with this mod, even the new armors (I mean the old armors from previous titles included with this mod) don't fit with the vanilla ones.
And the quest pack, It's was very annoying and immersion break to read the texts without any audio and as you said it has many grammar/spelling/syntax mistakes.
I played the gothic saga, even Arcania.... gothic was my first pc game and I remember it fondly so if I install a mod, that mod must be worthy, I don't want to spoil the experience, break the immersion, etc that's why I discarded these mods, although each person should make their own choice.
They are truley great mods (hat of to the creators) but they shouldnt be used in a normal playthrough what I can tell.
If I do this, will the CM installation remove the quests from Quest Pack 4.2?
I really want the visual changes and the extra items, but I don't want to run into any randomly german quests in the game.
You can disable the quests during the installation.
