How do you walk?

How do I walk in this game? My controls are set for the normal WASD or arrow keys but nothing works. I've tried unplugging/replugging my keyboard and I have tried multiple keyboards but nothing is working. Any suggestions?

My recommendation is to install Community Patch v1.75 which is capable of fixing most of the bugs.

For me it depends when I press the "fast run" key:

On my keyboard, the key to "fast run" (that uses Endurance / binded here to Num-0) is pressed AFTER AND HELD-DOWN WHILE I am pressing the "move forward" key (binded to Up-Arrow on my KB).

OTOH, if I press and hold that modifier-key FIRST, and THEN press the "move forward", I "slow walk".

IOW, when I press the modifier key affects whether it's a "fast run" or a "slow walk".
