Change Savefile Location / Speicherort ändern

I installed G1-3 on an externsl SSD so I can play at home aswell as on my Laptop while in a Train or so. This worked fine for G1 & G2. Now I started G3 and just now noticed that i had to start a new Game even though I played on my Desktop yesterday evening. How can I change the Savefile Location so its also on my SSD?

Ich habe G1-3 auf einer externen SSD installiert. Damit kann ich zu Hause und auch unterwegs am Laptop zocken. Nun bemerkte ich, dass die Speicherstände bei G3 auf unter Dokumente gespeichert qerden und nicht qie bei G1 und G2 im Spielodner. Wie kann ich dies ändern?

You cant do it in-game. You can only do this in G1 and G2 because old games save the save games in the game folder directly. But since 2005 or so no one does that anymore. Saves are save in your Windows document folders usually or somewhere else in your windows user folder.

You have the following options afaik:

- you could make windows change it completly but then this would apply to every other application on your system
- you can use onedrive
- you can buy it on gog and use gog galaxy. There you can store the saves in the cloud afaik
- you copy your last save from your desktop onto your external SSD and copy it then on your notebook under %userprofile%/documents/Gothic 3
