build a home or home for storage?

before i buy the game, is there a way to build a home, or at least aquire a home to store items and desplay trophies?

There's no such thing in Gothic 3. You have no carry limit, so you can carry everything you pick up. And for sleeping, any bed works.

I personally like it.

And for the home: no, you cant build a home, the nearest thing to a home you can get is a small hut in montera which you can call yours if you want.

you can kill someone and use his house and chest as your own.
You can't craft, but search a beautiful house and just kill the owner

i used to kill poor Jack cause I liked his "lighthouse" and it was fun to go for hunt from there and bring what i got to chest ^^ but in fact its pointless unless you really wanna pretend it makes sense meh

There's also this, albeit it's in Nordmar and you likely won't get until later in the game...
Once you kill the White Ripper and return to Bogir, he'll leave the Wolf Clan and in honor of your great hunt, he'll leave you his hut.
It still isn't anything special, but it's better than the other above mentioned hut.
