Can´t install patch 1.75
I tried to install the patch, but when I get asked to choose the folder I want it installed the in "OK"- button is always greyed out, no matter which folder I choose. Anyone had this problem before?
I am currently using Windows 10 and don´t ask me about the specs of my PC cause I have no idea (altho it was good enough to play Witcher 3 on it´s highest settings with only minor temperature issues)

When you install the patch through Steam, you shouldn't be prompted to choose a folder.

If you're trying to install the patch manually: don't  Install it through Steam instead. See the one pinned thread on this forum for instructions how to do that.

If for some reason you do need to install the patch manually or if Steam's patching process does ask for the game's location for some reason, the only thing I know of that can be a problem is if the patch installer doesn't find the correct exe-file. Over the years and due to other 3d-party patches and such, the main exe-file for G3 may be renamed, causing the patch installer to be unable to locate the file it's looking for.

I don't know by heart which installer requires which exe, but the two that are candidates here are 'Gothic3.exe' and 'Gothic3Final.exe'. So if you're sure you're pointing the installer to the correct folder on your drive, open that folder and rename the file 'Gothic3.exe' to 'Gothic3Final.exe' or vice versa. After that, run the installer again.

So the thing is I installed Gothic 3 through Steam and the patch from WorldofGothic.com (or whatever the page is called). So I clicked on the downloaded .exe file and went from there.
And how would I even install the patch through Steam if I have to download the patch from another website? (Sorry that I´m not really that tech savy T-T)

Like I said, check the (only) pinned thread on this forum. It's explained clearly, with screenshots and the works.

I don´t really understand what this patch does, but my mouse is working now so thanks for the help :3

Gothic 3 was extremely buggy on release. The community patch fixes hundreds of problems with the game and even allows you to change the game mechanics (balance) and/or improve opponent's AI.
