Mora Sul Keys Gamebreaker?
I killed Kalesch before getting all four of the other keys. His body didn't have the key on it. After obtaining the first four keys the game updated to complete the mission for Kalesch. But when I went back to his corpse the key wasn't there.

Is this a bug in the game? Is there a way to fix this?

When you kill him shouldn't matter. Afterall, when you arrive at Mora Sul temple, your reputation with the orcs may be bad enough already that you would fight them instead of collecting the other four keys before trying to talk to Kalesch (which would make him attack for story reasons anyway).

I'm not aware of any bug where the key would not be in his inventory.

You can always jump into the temple from above. No keys are necessary for this one afair

I'll try jumping into it.

I also found a thread that has a console command to put the key in inventory, but when I bring it up it doesn't seem to have a command line anywhere to type it in.

in order to use the console you must enable "TestMode" within the .ini

if you don't know where to find ge3.ini
Right Click Gothic 3 from within Steam and go to Manage / Browse Local Game Files -
it will open in local browser - ge3.ini is located in the folder labeled "Ini"
open ge3.ini with notepad or equivalent
browse for or use the Find function to locate

[Game]
TestMode=false

-change it to:

[Game]
TestMode=true

save / launch / while ingame press ~ to open the console

Thanks, but I did all of that. The console opens up fine, it just won't let me type anything in the command window.

Tried going through all of the menus at the top of the console but couldn't find anything in them that allowed me to edit.

After restarting the game a couple of times the console finally let me enter codes. Sort of. For some reason a few of the keys on my keyboard were remapped. The underscore and forward slash keys were swapped as well as the Y and Z keys. Got it figured out, though.

Oddly, telling it to give me key #5 resulted in two copies of key #3. Key five didn't show up until I told it to give me key two.

Ah, this game is such an adventure into the unknowable.
