Gothic 3
Polearm-type weapons?
So in spite of having played this game for countless hour back when I was a kid and playing the ever-living sh** out of it now, I actually am unsure about all the long two-handed weapons. I am currently doing a suicidal run, where I try to beat the game without taking any damage and for that, I chose the polearm-type melee weapons as a weapon of choice for they long range and spin-stun attack.

However, I am not 100% sure even after checking WoG of how many such weapons are there. I know of (in order of damage, from lowest to highest) Scythe-->Spear-->Halberd-->Krush Irmak-->Krush Tarach--:Ogre Morningstar

But there seems to be a freaking high jump in strength requirements between the Halberd and Krush Irmak, not to mention the Large Weapons III skill requirement and that I run with CP on, so above 250, every skillpoint costs double the LPs. With Irmak requiring, IIRC, 200, Tarach a whopping 380 and the Morningstar an ungodly 500 (which was high even WITHOUT the CP), did I miss some weapons in this order, or am I basically stuck with the Halberd for the remaining ~70% of my run? During my unpatched playthroughs, I always went nearly instantly for the Tarach so I did not really pay attention to anything in-between. Thanks for the answers!

P.S.: as I said, I checked like 70% of the two-handers in the game listed in WoG, but I did not found one with the range of the aforementioned weapons between the Halberd and Irmak (and Irmak isn't such a great weapon at all IMO).

What about longer swords, i am not sure if the paladin one is one handed, but they can be really good too.
There are also those staffs, i am nor sure how they are called, but ork magicans have them.
Thanks for the tips, but nah. Most of the enemies have swords with a range of 60-80 (according to WoG), and I need weapons that are DEFINITELY longer than those, which are the polearm weapons with a range of 90.. However, after looking it up, it appears that only the weapons I listed exist. As for staves, they require Ancient Knowledge (Altes Wissen, if you're playing the German version), and I am aiming as a 100% STR build. If I were to level AK, I'd only use spells as they have far superior range and damage to any other weapons. Also, since you start with 0 AK, it would be a royal pain in the neck to level that up to a substantial 100-150 where one can have staves, which do less damage anyway. But thanks for the tip! :D
Don't mention it. I think you are right. I totally forgot, that staves require that much AK ^^ it's been a while since I had my last playthrough. I never used staves anyway, but they allways make a decent amount of gold, when selling them.

Are you really trying to get no damage at all ? I mean it's going to be hard, cause many enemies are using ranged weapons. Good luck with that bro.
Thanks! :D I will try, but I think it will be in vain anyways, but it's a good way for me to test myself and have some more fun :D If it does not work with a fighter, I will switch to mage. BTW, there are some higher-tier staves which are life-savers, able to COMPLETELY block magic attacks, depleting your mana instead of HP, so as ling as you have mana and blocking, you take no damage at all from those pesky shamans ;) The problem starts with no damage runs where CP makes the enemies more aggressive and relentless, making literally no room for error as they are not so exploitable than they were in the original version. Like, even a normal arena fight (with no such "no damage" rule enforced) can be challenging.
