The vengard barrier

Hi do you know how to destroy the vengard barrier? I want to get the orc ending and when Kan gave me that orc armor he said something about destroying the vengard barrier. I got the rhobars staff. So please if you know something please help me

It can't be destroyed. What Kan implies is that defeating King Rhobar, his troops and the fire mages in Vengard will remove the barrier eventually for story reasons. It's the same if liberating Myrtana from the orcs, and Vengard will be safe again.

so if I follow xardas and open the portal to the new dimension I will get the orc end ?

i got up to that part but he would sometimes fail to cross the river and just jogs back and forth a specific area.
