You updated the game as said on the pinned discussion? Then why try to update it again? You already have the version 1.75.14. I suppose you updated it through the Steam Beta tab, which is not the way to go if you are planning on installing mods. Delete the game, do a clean installation, run the game once without doing anything, close it, download the latest Community Patch from the worldofgothic site and install it, run the game again. Now you can start installing the other mods. The order which you install everything in should be as followed: Base Game, Community Patch 1.75.14, latest Questpaket mod, Questpaket patch for 1.75.

If you did everything correctly, everything should work just fine. Don't use the Steam Beta Patch for the game, it's a different version of the patch. It's actually the same as the normal 1.75.14 patch, but it's not compatible with mods.

Download links for everything:

https://www.worldofgothic.de/dl/download_478.htm (CP 1.75.14)
https://www.worldofgothic.de/dl/download_433.htm (QP 4.2 + QP 1.75 Patch)

So again, just to make it as clear as possible:

1. Delete the game and all the files you can find under .../steamapps/Gothic 3/ and ...\Documents\gothic3\
2. Install it again, select your language under Properties>Language when right-clicking on G3 in your Steam library
3. Run it once, just the menu is enough
4. Install CP 1.75.14
5. Run the game again, close it
6. Install Questpaket 4.2, DON'T open the game
7. Install the QP 4.2 Patch

Now you should be able to run the game just fine.
