Using items from inventory

Hey, started playing this game after not finishing it, downloaded patch 1.75, started playing again.

But I am having a trouble with using items from my inventory, mainly Equip/unequip armor and using food/potions to heal unless they are placed in action bar. I remember i was just right clicking to equip but now it seems not working. Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Just click, so left click instead of right click, to equip something from the inventory.

tried that as well even double clicking, without any effect, it just shows the item as if I could drag it

Use Return or Enter as a workaround.

yes, just go over it with your mouse and press Enter.
