Rhymes and Riddles.

Don't know about the rest of you snappily dressed reaping people, but I kinda liked our employer, The Fire, better before he took a class in rhyme and riddle making. He was more plainspoken, and to the point back when, which you learn to appreciate in our line of work. These days he seems to have a quaint little time watching us struggle to decipher meaning from his words, shame he pays so well, or I wouldn't put up with it.
(But in all honesty, I prefered the old lines of mission dialogue in the free prototype of the game.)

I finished the zombie missions just now and I'll be honest, I am having issues understanding who is actually talking.

Is it the fire? Is it the reaper talking to himself? It's all a tad confusing.

Don't know what's so confusing, but the quotes are the fire speaking. The rest are the Reaper's thoughts.

It seems like the reaper talks to himself, but i suppose its the fire talking... maybe thats the whole point, who knows.

Seeing as the Fire wants us to collect the Fires of Life back from those who selfishly holds onto them, and seeing as we are the Reaper, I would guess we are working for this universe's God figure, seeing as that life is a gift from said entity.

Or maybe the Reaper really is talking to himself, as in, he looks into the fire and has a conversation with himself. He's mad!

There's enough evidence to say that Deadbolt is based around greek mythology; Cerberus dogs, the Styx, etc.
So, who's the one goddess that is mostly related to fire, fireplaces, family, and all that jazz?

Or you know, the guy he meets at the end could be the fire? I don't think Hopoo was looking for any riddles on who said what. Pretty certain that guy at the end is the fire talking. Trying to not spoil anything.
