A weird problem (to hopoo)
Hopoo, i don't know if you already aware of this, but i'll report anyway...

As i saw the game supports Steam Cloud, so i can restore my save from anywhere, right? Two strange things happened to me:

One:
I installed DEABDOLT on my default gaming PC (let's call PC1), i played 94% of the game on it. Other day i logged and installed the game in my other PC (PC2), and the game state was restored with all saves. So the steam cloud was running alright.
Ok, now the weird thing, on another day i went to my friend's house and logged on my account, PC3, (in all events i had all other instances of my account logged off) downloaded the game but it didn't restore the save state and the maps from the workshop. I found it strange but i didn't pay much attention. Then i came back home and my surprise: All my progress was overwritten by a blank save from PC3.

I was pretty frustrated, but i managed to make a copy from my save file on PC2 (which i didn't log in) and "inject" on PC1 and then to the cloud.

Ok, now the second strange part. My save from PC1 (before the accident) and PC2 had minor progress difference, the PC2 i didn't have completed yet the Grave Robber Achievement and because of this i haven't bought the revenant gun. So i tried to do it again, even with the Steam achievement already done, and get the bonus souls back to buy the gun again. The thing is, as i can imagine, because the achievement was already marked as done in my account, the game will not pop off a new in-game achievement completion to get my bonus soul; even if knowing that in that save, that achievement was never unlocked.

Hopoo, any light on this strange thing? Thank you.

P.S. Just stressing that in all events my account had only one instance active. And in no moment the Steam prompted me with "Cloud Save Conflict" Message.

In-game achievement, and their reward souls, are unique to each save file so it's strange that it would limit that. Steam Cloud saving desync issues are, as far as I'm aware, something on Steam's end, not mine - it's done all automatically, and are saved in your AppData/Local/deadbolt_game folder.

I'd perhaps send steam a support ticket? I don't think I have access to your steam cloud information

No problem. No big deal actually.
I'm just reporting because it could be a useful info. And i got really intrigued about that.
