Can't Join Plaza

Every time i try to join plaza i get the connection to host lost error. does anyone know how to fix this. it only started happening today

same. just re-downloaded the game after a few years. and verified game files tried to load into a plaza where a friend was playing and i kept getting the same message. idk what to do.

it just seems to be broken for some people, might get fixed tommorow.
the servers have been ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ themselves recently

I had the same issue but after updating steam the issue is fixed.

I did a little more detailed testing tonight.

The following servers do not work for me since the last update. This seems to affect some people (that are posting here) but not everyone (since clearly the servers are getting populated). I don't know if it's the same for others, these are just my results:

- US West 1-4, US East 1-4, France 1-3, APAC Tokyo, APAC Singapore do not connect.

Result: "Joining server..." for exactly 15 seconds, then "Loading / Main" for 1-2 seconds, then "Your connection to the server has been lost." The specific timing makes it sound like a connection(/authentication?) timeout.

The following servers (2 out of 15) work for me every time I've tried:

- France 4, AUS Sydney.

This issue since Halloween update, and still not fix yet... (I have same issue since October update)
If this issue still occurs, it probably won't be a good sign for the game's current state. Seems many people start have this same issue...

Unfortunately this has been an issue on Steams end. Restarting Steam fixes the issue and we have been waiting for Valve to resolve connectivity issues.

We have been discussing alternative solutions.
