If you wanna break the rules then that's your decision.
Noone can force you to press space every 3 seconds for hours. Thats just stupidy.
They just dont want you to be afk on slot machines. But if you put your macro on and watch it like everyone else and press the keys they want within their afk system each 15 minutes you will be fine.
If they really dont like macros, they would have implement a time checker between actions or remove a static 15 minutes afk timer. Because you can press the key they want, and be afk for exactly 15 minutes. afk again. 15 minutes later press the key etc.
I use the macro for environment reasons. There is no reason to press space every 3 seconds for hours. But watching the slot machines like a movie is ok for me. I never afk, and if guys are playing minigames I abort my macro and join them. So noone here can judge me for not destroying my keyboard with useless "space spam".
VAC can't detect macros.
EDIT: Its not even close to a cheat. It just presses a key every X seconds. It doesn't bypass any anti afk function or isn't giving you any kind of advantage.
