Dealing with high agility fighters as a strength based fighter
So I've built my fighter up to 13 str, 4 agi, and 5 stamina and I'm getting destroyed by a guy with less than 10 agi (Rey Misterio or whatever). How do I handle agi heavy fighters, they seem to just dodge a bunch and slowly wittle away at me?

AFAIK, you don't. The devs didn't even slightly begin to balance the 3 different archetypes.

Get block, and a hardbone and elblow and you will be golden with those pesky agi fighters, might even want to throw knee crush in there aswell.

Grind/Potion AGI up to at least 8, preferably 10.
Grab the Boxer perk when you get to it.
My endgame build was Boxing Punch, Triple Punch, Tormentor Strikes, Exhauster and Boxing Jab Series. Wiped the floor against all 3 archetypes.

Without agi, just pray, and pray very hard. MAYBE one day god will ear your pain and do something, but i seriously doubt it.

Yeah basically you can either stack massive stamina and just wait out the fights until the other boxer tires or you build agility. Strength is useless. I've been in matches, several, where my boxer had higher overall stats, more abilities, and literally never threw a punch. Just stood there for two rounds before going down.

Garbage.

The fact that you have to grind several hours before realizing how bad this game is tells you that they may have intentionally worked around the refund policy on Steam.

You lock your strength at 13 and start working on your secondary stats because they're garbage and because that's what the ability to lock a stat is there for.
Also pick your most precise attack, which is boxing punch.
There you go, now you decimate people.

That. I finished up with the way of the Bear with 18 Str, 12 Agi and 14 Sta, and it was easy as hell, using pretty much those 3 skills. The guide in the beginning of the game that tells you to focus on only one stat doesn't necessarily tell you to completely omit the rest.

I remember locking Str at 13 just before going to Russia and then used that to get agi and sta up to par. Everything else was easy.

I recommend 9 str (just the limit before raising your attack's energy costs) and raise AGI to 10 or something. You NEED AGI to raise your precision points. Stick to that. And also ELBLOW - "It greatly reduces opponent's agility" and deal damage. It's better than Tormentor Strike.

Also, if they have a lot of counters, you have to use attacks that have more precision points.

the sure fire way is to actually train your agi somewhere around your two other stats because,
acc = agi3 (str / agi / stam)

The soft counter is to not get ruthless until your agi is high and focus on elbow crush or the agi reducing block (as long as they dont have sharp sting or high roundhouse) or tormentor strike (which will help you land the first hit but, wont capitlize on the next as much).

personally i like to drain agi builds of their stam so that they tire themselves out, this is only possible if they have low stam regen / no stam augmenting abilities.

All in all, agi > str but, with a little luck, prep work and well mostly luck, youll beat them

Look up the tiger guide here @steam. I tried it, it works without a problem. You dont need high agi if you use the correct punches so your 2nd attribute should be stamina ;)

Usually you win your fights against Tiger like that:
Miss - Miss - Miss - Miss - Miss - Hit - KO ;)
So keep that stamina up so you dont get KOed before you hit!

But, Bear is also abit RNG heavy, same as Tiger in Late game... So maybe you have to replay (some) fights...
