the tree cant grow a leaf without a branch
if you could simply choose the skills you want you could skill like
train - statt lock 4/4/4 train-statt lock 8/8/8- 13/13/13 farm money skill all the end game skills and beat the game in 7 days
edit: just to make sure everyone gets it -> ironie was involved
making a system like this would be horrifying for every beginner since they would probably be completly overwhelmed by all those skills and would get lost while trying to figure out what could be the best for how they are going to play
progressing further and further in those skilltrees to reach higher goals ( skills) is somehow an own reward itself for progressing in the game
if you are training at home or in a club i think you wouldnt start with the hardest techniques and never learn how to make a simple block or punch
just remember a kid needs to learn how to crawl first and ( atleast most of the time) doesnt start with running a marathon first
*Addendum: I don't think they should get rid of prerequisits, but I do think that the ability to respec would be incredibly helpful.
